Pokemon Go Creators Are Making Harry Potter AR Game And It’s Going To Launch Soon.

When Pokemon Go was released, it took the gaming level to a whole new level. There were already few popular AR games before Pokemon Go, but the craze for Niantic’s Pokemon Go was insane. Soon after the release, Harry Potter fans were excited to see if they can also get to play Harry Potter AR game but it was never confirmed. But now after a year, Niantic has finally confirmed that they are going to team up with Warner Bros, Interactive Entertainment and WB Games San Francisco for “Harry Potter: Wizards Unite,” a new location-based augmented reality game based on the world of J.K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter” series.

The name of this AR game will be Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. According to Niantic lab, the game is influenced by Niantic’s cult classic game Ingress, which allows people to collect boosts, defend locations, and explore their environment, mixing the real world and the digital. In this Harry Potter AR game, players will fight “legendary beasts and team up with other players to hunt down the common enemy,” which we can safely assume to be the Lord Voldemort.

As per reports, the game is going to launch in 2018. There isn’t much more information about it. But the excitement among the fans is noticeable. Hope Niantic learns from the old mistakes as they always had server issues with Pokemon Go and initially there were geo blocks in many countries.

So, what do you think of this Harry Potter AR game? Soon the wizards in us are going to kill the devils and not by using wands, but the smartphones.
