Arrow season 6 will witness Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) having more involvement with his son William. While details have not been confirmed yet, there are high chances that William’s mother is already dead due to Lin Yu Island explosion. Lots of storylines have been introduced in the past and now, season 6 is set to dig deeper into Oliver Queen’s past.
Oliver will have more reflections from the past in ‘Arrow’ season 6
However, Oliver’s ever protective mother didn’t tell her son about what she did. On one end, Oliver was relieved there is no obstruction in her relationship with Laurel. As expected, his son William grew up without knowing him, and the mother of his child decided to get away as far as possible.
Fate made them meet face to face again at Jitters, during Oliver’s visit in Central City. No one can deny the fact that Team Arrow has faced several problems where William had to be the leverage. Oliver tried to hide him and his mother, but in the latest season, Prometheus found them.
Having Oliver continually dwell in the past is no surprise. After all, flashbacks in the show are still ongoing. According to Screen Rant, self-reflections will likely be the series’ focus on moving forward following the tragic events of season 5.
Reexamining his relationship and himself
Oliver is set to have a particular attention in his relationship with William. Despite being father and son, they don’t have any idea about each other, but Stephen Amell recently mentioned in an interview how he hopes for the relationship of both to develop.
“I am excited that not only are they going to learn about having the father-son relationship, I think we are going to explore that in Season 6, but William also knows that Oliver is the Green Arrow.”
Furthermore, this will be an interesting journey that fans have to watch out. “Arrow” season 6, episode 1 will air on October 12, 2017.
